It's been a wild month and I've definitely been slacking on my blogging. But here's a quick update on where I'm at in life!
So if you've kept up with my last post (3 weeks ago, my b), you know that I've moved! I'm back in the eastern part of the country but more south than Ohio. It's a big adjustment since it's just as hot as California but 100% more humid. Also waaaaaayyyyy less stuff to do, unfortunately. However, I'm pretty happy and just wanted to let ya'll know.
My new position is one that I'm really starting to love as I'm settling in. The team is awesome, I'm gonna need to learn French, and it's a lot of research based work which I absolutely love. It's also nice to learn a bit about how designers from France handle their work and design. Sadly, I haven't been gaming as much as I'd like but I am starting to bake and soon, hopefully, I'll get back into gardening and pursuing my passion projects at home. I know I'm overdue for another part of my blog on how I'm branding, but hopefully I'll have some time to focus on that this weekend.
I want to talk a bit about my baking adventures too since they've been maybe 75% successful. I say that because the cookies that I've been making are pretty easy and tasty, but their aesthetics (aka craft) is lacking. However, I don't have enough baking experience to really fix that problem so I'm looking for suggestions. If anyone has any recommendations for glazing, frosting, keeping your cookies looking nice, I'd love to hear them. I'm also open to recipe suggestions. I think next week I'll be making something with Jasmine or Earl Grey, maybe madelines since I can't find a lot of recipes with Jasmine in them.
Moving on, here's what you can expect for posts in the upcoming month.
*Revisiting my cat cafe branding
*Learning about Swiss Design
*Putting together a marketing schedule
*Layout design & grids
*Email design for designers
I hope you'll stay tuned for future posts and share any suggestions you'd like to see for future content. I'm trying to focus more of my future content on more design related subjects in hopes of focusing my future ambitions.
